GeneratA is an album inspired by the work of art photographer and author of the album cover Julius Eb whom works were shown at his personal exhibition in Tirana “Generata A” in the National Gallery of Modern Art. The exhibition was centered on the subject of the Albanian new generation, resulted from the current reconstruction.
Starting from his images of the reconstruction of eastern Europe, Acchiappashpirt builds a soundtrack for the “New Generations” of the whole world, exploring their sensation of void, the feeling of having to start from scratch continuously.
The lyrics cover several issues: Colonialism, Love in the new century, the sudden urbanization of ancestral towns and the new damned youth, who now seems to resemble the one described by David Bowie as “The Sons Of The Silent Age” in “Heroes”.
GeneratA is Acchiappashpirt first ever Trap Sound Poetry experiment, with the goal of pushing Sound Poetry out of its bounduaries.

GeneratA è un progetto ispirato al lavoro del fotografo d'arte Julius Eb, autore della cover art, che durante una residenza in Albania ha esposto al museo nazionale d'arte moderna a Tirana una raccolta di suoi lavori chiamati Generata A.
il tema era la nuova generazione albanese, figlia della ricostruzione in atto. Partendo dalle sue riflessioni visive sulla ricostruzione dell'est europa Acchiappashpirt affronta un excursus sull'horror vacui delle nuove generazioni di tutto il mondo che sembrano condannate a ripartire da zero.
I testi toccano diversi argomenti: dal colonialismo, all' amore del nuovo secolo, all' urbanizzazione improvvisa dove prima regnavano ancora situazioni ancestrali, di disagio giovanile che ora sembra invece aderire ai “sons of the silent age” descritti da Bowie in “heroes”.
E’ in assoluto il primo esperimento di Trap sound poetry degli Acchiappashpirt, per portare la poesia sonora direttamente oltre l’ostacolo.
